Lauren (6), Danica (7), Duke Jr. (5), and Caleb (9)

I can't believe it has been 5 years already. Here is a picture of your 4 grandchildren. Everyone misses you daily. I know you are watching over us.

Duke - it has now been 4 years since you went to Heaven, but the hurt feels like it was yesterday. Here is an updated picture of our 4 grandchildren. I know they miss their grandpa as much as I do.

It has now been 3 years since the smartest man I have known passed away. Duke knew something about every topic. He could fix anything that went wrong. He could take an entire engine or transmission apart and put it back together.....and it still ran. He built a cabin and deer stand on our property, which he absolutely loved to visit. I always seem to be the last to find out about these things. Duke was a friend and co-worker at Wagner Electric. I remember when he & Bonnie first started dating. They were a cute couple. I always laugh when I remember lunch with John Vergoz. The new CEO asked Duke why people called him Duke. Duke looked up from his salad and replied, "Cuz that's my name." Duke was one of a kind. I'll miss him.

2009 - Troy, MO

Duke - it has been 2 years since you were taken from us. We all miss you dearly, but know you are in heaven, sitting in a hot tub, and enjoying a cold beer!

Duke and I were partners in an engineering design class at UMR and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He always had a great attitude and I enjoyed working with him on out project and celebrating afterwardl
