Stanley Stokes Obituary
Mr. Stanley Vernon "Stanley Toole" Stokes, 59, of Taylors, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at his residence. Born in Columbia, SC; He was a son of the late George Thomas and Eula Mae Stokes.
Surviving: his wife of 30 years, Terri Armstrong Stokes, of the home, two sons, Stanley Armstrong Stokes, of Atlanta, GA; and Terrance Connor Stokes, of Simpsonville, SC; a sister, Natasha Stokes, of Columbia, SC; his grand puppy "MAX", and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services: Friday, January 26, 2024, 3:00pm, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Memorial Gardens of Columbia.
Funeral Services: Saturday, January 27, 2024, 12:00noon, at First Nazareth Baptist Church, with interment in Memorial Gardens of Columbia, 9301 Wilson Blvd, Columbia SC., 29203.

Him working at 107.3 JAMZ Radio station. I worked for the Anderson Housing Authority, he contacted me every Thanksgiving to give out turkeys to the residents. He DJ for a senior citizen gathering we had at the Westside Community Center. He was a great friend. He will be missed. Condolences to the family. Sara Smith.

Stan and I knew each other thru the radio affiliation before he and my husband, whom he affectionately called "JRob" did. Stan was a frequent visitor in our home. He stayed in contact with me after James passed a little over 2 years ago. Stan spoke at his service and accompanied his remains. Stan will be missed. Life is extremely too short. Terri, I´ve been where you are. Know that I´m praying for you and the your family.
