Teddy Stanley Stringfellow, age 74, passed away December 2, 2024. He was a 1968 graduate of George County High School. He proudly served in the United States Marines and spent time in Vietnam. Upon returning from the military, he worked in construction for many years. He then began a career with the local Walmart for over 20 years in various management positions. After retirement, he spent time traveling and frequented the Smokey Mountains. He greatly enjoyed gardening and growing citrus, which he shared with everyone.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie C. Stringfellow and Versie Bond Stringfellow; niece, DeDra Finseth.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Martha L. Stringfellow; son, Jason Stringfellow and daughter, Shayla Stringfellow; step-daughter, Lisa (Scott) Floyd; step-son, Pat (Laurie) Crosby; sister, Sherry (Rex) Garrick; grandchildren, Cole Stringfellow, Carson Ordoyne, Caroline Floyd, Peter Floyd, and Johnathan Crosby; Great nephew and fellow serviceman, Bond Finseth; faithful melanois companion and with him to the end, Lucy; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Dillon officiating. A private graveside service will be at Howell Mill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Buddy Horn, Cecil Jordan, Terry Tillman, Scott Floyd, Cole Stringfellow, Shawn Harrell. Honorary Pallbearer will be Woodie Bryant.
Moments Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
