David Stringfellow Obituary

David William Stringfellow, age 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 13, 2026 in Wimberley, Texas. Family and Friends are deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death.

David was born in Houston, Texas on August 26th, 1951, to the late William and Julia (Beth) Stringfellow. David graduated from Galena Park High School in 1970. He had numerous friends and still kept in contact with many of them from High School. He was very charming and charismatic and made every person he met feel extra special. He was a best friend to all that knew him and he would gladly help anyone who needed it.

David worked in many professions throughout his life but spent the last 25 years proudly working for Olsen Electric as an Electrician. He was an avid golfer and looked forward to his weekly golf games with his friends. He loved feeding the deer and foxes that visited him regularly throughout the day and he was a devoted caretaker to his German Shepherd "Sis" who was at his side till the very end.

David is preceded in death by his brother Carl "Newt" and grandson, Andrew. David is survived by many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews that loved him very much. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn, and his lifelong partner in crime, his twin Brother, Daniel.

A Memorial Service for David Stringfellow will be held at his home in Wimberley at a later date.
