Stanley Thompson passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of strength, dedication, and deep love for those closest to him.
Stanley was a proud United States Marine, carrying the values of honor, courage, and commitment with him throughout his life. He dedicated 37 years of hard work to Arizona Public Service (APS), where he built a respected career and lifelong friendships. His work ethic was unmatched, and he took great pride in providing for his family.
An avid hunter and true outdoorsman, Stanley felt most at peace in the quiet of the mountains and open fields. The outdoors wasn’t just a hobby—it was where he found joy, reflection, and adventure.
He loved his parents, Bob and Helen Thompson, and carried their influence and guidance with him always. Above all, Stanley cherished his daughters, Jessica and Erin, and adored his six grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Being “Dad” and “Papa” was his greatest honor.
Stanley will be remembered for his strength, steady presence, deep love for family, and the way he showed up—every single time—for the people he cared about.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
