Stanton Wells Obituary
Wells, Stanton R., 85, passed away Nov. 13, 2025, of natural causes, Derby, Kansas. Stan was born July 25, 1940 in Waltonville, IL to Harmon and E. Maxine Wells (Jones).
Stan joined the United States Air Force in 1960-1964. He reached the rank of SrA before his Honorable Discharge.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents Harmon and E. Maxine, sister, Peggy, step-father, Chet Smith and brother, Dale.
Stan is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jeaneen; daughters, Nancy (Donna) of Wichita, KS, Marni and Alison. In addition, he is survived by nephews, Jack (Shannon) and Jeff (Brooke), cousins and many loving friends.
Memorial service are 10:00 am Monday, November 24, 2025 at Derby Church of Christ, 225 N. Derby, Derby, KS and interment to follow at 3:00 pm at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery, 1208 N. College Street, Winfield, KS.
Memorials can be sent to Carpenter Place, 1501 N Meridian, Wichita, KS 67203.
