Starla Dean Adams, a beacon of love and joy, passed away surrounded by the warmth of her family's affection. Born with a spirit of adventure and a heart full of love, Starla's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and her boundless capacity for friendship.
Starla's legacy is cherished by her devoted husband, Bruce A. Adams of Alexander City, AL, who stood by her side in a partnership that was a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew them. She was a proud and loving mother to her sons, Chance O'Neal (Missy) Banks, David Matthew (Alice) Banks, and Dalton O'Neil Banks. Her role as a grandmother was one she embraced with enthusiasm, imparting wisdom and creating lasting memories with Savannah (Christopher) Banks, Jacob (Victoria) Banks, Chance (Katie) Banks, Mason (Alyssa) Murphy, Gracie (Austin) Banks, Kayd Banks, Xayden Hobbs, and Andrew (Amy) Redditt. The joy of her life multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren James, Jeremy, Katie, Katilyn Hall, Collier, Jaxtyn Banks, Daniel Murphy, Malia, Willow Banks, Maddox, Braxton, and Carson Redditt, who all brought her immeasurable happiness.
Starla's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's journey with grace and fortitude. Her brothers, Marshall Henry Collier III and David Michael Collier, will fondly remember their sister's adventurous spirit and loving nature. Starla now joins in eternal peace her father, Marshall Henry Collier II, her mother, JoAnn Wells, her son, Jeremy Dwayne Henley, and her sister, Shannon Trussell, who preceded her in death.
An avid lover of nature, Starla found solace and delight in the simple pleasures of life. She spent countless hours tending to her family, watching hummingbirds dart to her feeders, and admiring butterflies as they visited her many beautiful flowers. Her adventurous spirit was matched by her love for family trips, which were not only important but a source of great joy and bonding for her loved ones.
Starla's fondness for the thrill of scary movies was well-known among her children and grandchildren, with whom she shared many a suspenseful moment. Her softer side was revealed in her love for the heartwarming tales on the Hallmark channel, which she watched with equal enthusiasm.
Described by those who knew her as adventurous, loving, and friendly, Starla's presence was a gift to all who had the pleasure of crossing her path. Her ability to nurture relationships and her dedication to her family were unparalleled, making her a cherished figure in her community and beyond.
As we bid farewell to Starla Dean Adams, we celebrate a life lived with passion, kindness, and an enduring love that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched. Her spirit, characterized by her adventurous nature and loving disposition, will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
