Starr Lea Watson-Fehrman, beloved Mother, Wife, Grandmother and matriarch passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30th, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband, David Fehrman; eldest son, Kendall Kjaldgaard; only daughter, Kelly (Tom) Teuschl; youngest son, Seth Roach; and her sister, Tracy (John) Sutter. She was deeply loved by each of her 8 grandchildren, Billy (Jen) Burnham, Jim (Danielle) Burnham, Lydia (Grayson) Smith, Kaelin (Abby), Josh, Ryan, Lauren, Jack; and 5 great grandchildren, Finn, Evie, Mira, and Aven. She is preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and David Watson, her brothers, David Watson and Arthur Watson.
Her legacy is one of unconditional love and care for over 3 generations of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Stranger or friend, no matter the person or how she was treated she always cared more about the wellbeing of others over herself. The example she leaves for her family and loved ones reflects the world she hoped to inspire through her actions. She was incredibly creative and artistic, with a deep appreciation for beauty, and she found great joy in traveling and experiencing the world.
Her life was defined by kindness, love, and compassion. She consistently put others before herself and had a deeply giving heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held in spring 2026.
