Stefan Jayvion Meade was born on August 8, 2010, in Sacramento, California. He passed away on March 17, 2026.
Stefan was a bright, kind, and deeply loved young man. He had a gentle heart paired with a playful, goofy personality that made others feel comfortable and seen. His laughter was easy, and his presence made a difference. He found joy in basketball, video games, animals, and shoes, and he had a special love for cars. Stefan cared about people and had a natural instinct to help others, showing kindness in ways both big and small.
He is survived by his mother and bonus dad, Angela and Michael Haakonstad; his father, Alfons; his grandmother Linda Reznick; his grandfathers Donald Olsen and Steve Reznick; his siblings, Emre Meade and Alfons Meade Jr.; and his bonus siblings, Jayda and Amy. He is also remembered by extended family and loved ones who will carry his memory forward.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose Meade Johnson.
Stefan’s favorite color was deep purple, a color that reflected his individuality and spirit.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the quiet ways he touched the lives of those around him.
