Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home & CremationJudy Lee Jackson (Red) was born in Manhattan KS, on August 10th, 1944, to Theodore Alden Jackson and Anita Marie King. On Saturday February 14th, 2026, she passed away in the comfort of her home in Manhattan, KS.
Judy was a lifelong resident of Manhattan, KS where she attended public schools and later went to work doing CNA work (private sittings with elders), and then later on becoming a cook for the Kansas State University Sororities.
Judy was a member of the VFW where she supported them in hosting many events. In her free time Judy loved to go to bingo and the casino, and she also loved to host family and friends at her home. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
Judy Is preceded in death by her father Theodore Alden Jackson, her mother Anita Marie King, her son Maurice Lee Jackson and her brother Theodore Alden Jackson Jr. (Bubby).
She is survived by her sister Dorise Jackson (Buffalo, NY), her brother Dell Jackson (Buffalo, NY), and Laura Longley (Carson, CA), Her two daughters Robin Darby-Bey (LA, California), and Bernadette Jackson (Charlotte, NC). Judy also leaves behind eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The Home Going Memorial Service for Judy Jackson will be held at the Union Pacific Train Depot, 120 Ft. Riley Blvd. Manhattan KS 66502. The Memorial Service will be from 2pm to 4pm Monday, March 2nd, 2026.
