Elaine Esther (Wiese) Liddell, 89, of Manhattan, Kansas died on February 6, 2026. She was born on October 10, 1936 in Beloit, Kansas to Herman and Merle Wiese, both deceased. She was raised on a farm near Tipton, Kansas and graduated from Hunter High School. She attended school in Omaha, Nebraska where she met Jack R. Liddell and they married on August 30, 1957 in Washington, DC.
Mrs. Liddell retired from USDA, Agricultural Research Center on July 30, 2010.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Liddell (10/23/19980 and sisters; Lola Streit (9/23/2012), Joice Kimerer (10/18/2018), and LeLa Heiman (2/28/2021).
She is survived by a son, Kraig R. Liddell Sr, (Mary) and Grandson Kraig R. Liddell Jr. and a great granddaughter Iris Elaine Parks.
