Roberta Wolf Obituary

It was on April 15, 1954, that Roberta Jean was born to Arthur J. and Irene M. (Danielski) Kresha at St. Mary's Hospital in Columbus, NE. Known as "Bobbi" almost all of her life, she attended St. Bonaventure grade school and Scotus Jr. High and High School in Columbus. After graduation, she attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, NE. After her freshman year, she married her high school sweetheart Mark Wolf of Columbus and happily followed him to Ft. Riley, Manhattan, KS where he served in the military. There she received her associate's degree in Food Nutrition. It was in Manhattan, KS where their son Ryan was born.

In 1977, Bobbi was struck with Aplastic Anemia. She was flown to UCLA where she received a lifesaving bone marrow transplant thankfully provided by her sister Dian. After Bobbi's transplant as a family, they made their home in Omaha where Bobbi could be closer to her doctors.

Bobbi was preceded in death by her father, Arthur J. Kresha; grandparents, aunts and uncles and several cousins. She is survived by her husband and son of Omaha, Mark Wolf and Ryan Wolf; mother, Irene M. Kresha (Columbus); and three big sisters, Dian Gabriel (Dr. Bill Gabriel, Santa Barbara, CA.), Linda Wibbels (Kevin Wibbels, Lincoln), Dr. Donna Block (Raleigh, N.C.); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

At a later date there will be a private family Celebration of Life as Bobbi donated her body to science for research at the Nebraska Medical Center. Bobbi was thankful for her medical treatment, loved kids and animals, so any memorials may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House, Omaha, Scotus Endowment Fund, Columbus, NE, 6860 or the Nebraska Humane Society.
