Passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2024. Survived by loving husband, Robert; daughters, Sienna & Gianna; father, Paul (Gayle); mother, Connie (Jeff Kurtz); brothers, C.J. (April) & Mario (Ruby); also nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
Marisa's passion and love for cooking was well known by all and she delighted in bringing that joy to others who visited her home. In her adventurous years she spent time scuba diving, flying with her private pilot's license, and riding her Harley Davidson. For her quieter side, she always enjoyed the family/friend getaways for toes in the sand under palm trees surrounded by the calm ocean breeze. Above all, she loved her blue-eyed, blonde girls who she prayed for fervently.
As a beloved daughter, wife, and mother, you will be missed dearly and yet we are so grateful for the time we were blessed to have with you and the beauty of your memory that will live on forever.
Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 6th, at the Church of Holy Trinity, 749 6th Ave. So., South St. Paul, MN 55075 with a visitation starting at 10:00 am also on Tuesday, March 5th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN.

Marissa was a beautiful, smart girl when I interviewed her for a position in our company. Her spirit is bold, fearless and energetic. She was always hungry for learning new skills. We both loved working out at lifetime fitness in Woodbury. We lost a beautiful child of God. I will forever remember the footprint she made on my heart.

I remember the smile and joy on Marisa's face (and Bob's) after watching Sienna play in the State softball tournament, all decked out in Waves gear and supporting all the Stefani teammates playing in the tournament. She was proud of her girls, for good reason, and gracious in support of everyone else. So sad to hear of Marissa´s passing. She was a beautiful woman who always showed courage and boldness to go the distance in any situation. Marissa was an amazing employee. May she rest in peace.

I love you "lady". The thought of never seeing you again is messing me up bad. I´m going to miss your voice, big blue eyes and your laugh.
Thank you for loving my daughter as your own and just being a light in my life. Through life and death we will always be friends. I cannot wait to see you again someday. Until then I will replay our conversations and good memories over and over to get me through.
