Opal Baird, 97, of Covington, KY, passed away at Cold Spring Transitional Care on Friday, July 26, 2024. She was a homemaker and a previous member and Sunday School Teacher at Immanuel Baptist Church in Covington, KY. Opal is presently a member of Redemption Church in Latonia, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband: William Thomas Baird, Sr.; sons: William Thomas Baird, Jr. and Jerry Baird and brother: Arthur "Bo" Bradford. Opal is survived by her daughter: Patsy Jane Bradley; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 9:30 AM until the funeral at 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY. In lieu of flowers: memorials are suggested to Redemption Church, 2735 Ashland Ave., Covington (Latonia), KY 41015.
