Stella Frances Williamson Fowler age 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 22, 2025 in her home with her family by her side.
Born in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Albert Williamson and Magdalene Stevens Williamson.
She was a graduate of Nakina High School class of 1972, after graduation she attended Watts School of Nursing where she received her RN degree in 1976. She devoted her career in critical care where she focused on the heart. When she became a nurse director, she received her BS degree at the University of South Carolina then later received her Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix. Being an advocate for bringing better healthcare to her community and surrounding communities she helped design state of the art ICU's and helped bring healthcare technology such as Cath labs to hospitals. She always had a passion for the sick and suffering even when she was a young girl growing up on the family farm if it was an animal or someone, she was always taking care of their needs, this is where she got her work ethics from. Outside of work she loved planning adventures with her family, where she loved fishing or white-water rafting or just going shopping with her sisters.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Jesse "Buck" Fowler of Green Sea, SC, two sons, James Brandon Fowler and Justin Byron Fowler both of Nakina, NC, six sisters, Mary Elizabeth Williamson of Nakina, NC, Phyllis W.
