Stella Karounos

Stella had a sharp tongue, a quick wit, and little tolerance for nonsense. If she cared about you, you knew it. Her affection was measured not in words, but in actions, loyalty, and an unshakable presence.

She was practical, strong, and fiercely independent. Life wasn't always easy, but she met its challenges head-on, with grit and determination.

She will be remembered for her strength, her candor, and her unwavering sense of duty to those she loved. She taught us the value of resilience, the importance of standing our ground, and the quiet power of simply showing up.

She is survived by her sons John, Theodore, and Michael, her daughter-in laws Jaymie, Anna and Jessica, her grandchildren George, John, Salvatore, Johnnie and Kathryn, her sister Joanne Nicholas and her nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her and understood the depth of her love-even when it was not easily spoken.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to be kind to someone, stand firm when it matters, and hold your loved ones a little closer.
