STEPHANE J. WHITLOCK, 68, passed away unexpectedly February 24, 2026 at home.
Born in Châtellerault, France, Steve was a son of the late Lelton and Francoise Bascans Whitlock. His formative years were spent in Arab, Alabama, where he graduated from Arab High School in 1976. Over the past eight years, Steve was a supervisor at Emerson in Aiken, South Carolina, where he formed lasting bonds with his work family. He was an enthusiastic supporter of Auburn University and proudly shared his passion with those around him.
Steve is survived by his two sisters, Glenda Ferris (Mark) and Sheila Shockley, both of Madison, Alabama; two brothers, Mike Whitlock (Lisa) of Arab, Alabama, and Kenny Whitlock (Teresa) of Cookeville, Tennessee. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, along with his beloved German Shepherd, Maggie, who brought him immense joy.
