Stephanie Campbell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allen Funeral Home and Crematory on Mar. 19, 2026.
Stephanie G. Campbell, 69, of Bicknell, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on March 13, 2026.

She was born on January 9, 1957, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Della Mae Flickinger. Stephanie was a devoted mother and homemaker who also worked as a cashier, always bringing kindness and warmth to everyone she met.

Stephanie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved caring for her plants, thrift shopping, and finding the best deals. She enjoyed listening to her favorite singer, Willie Nelson, and spending time with her family. Her laughter was unforgettable-loud, joyful, and able to fill an entire room. She had a gift for making others smile, especially through her love of telling jokes. She also enjoyed attending church and carried a spirit of love and strength throughout her life.

Stephanie shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Deliah, also known as Lyla Bell, who was her loyal companion and best friend for many years.

She is survived by her companion, Vaughn Sanders; her loving children: daughter Krista Lavender (James); sons Matthew Campbell (Amanda), Michael Campbell, and Andrew Campbell; her sister Amy Marsh; her cousins Jean Ann & Bill Flickinger and Sheary Boldrey ; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Shana, Kaia, Taryn, Braylynn, Tayja, Izzy, Braxlee, Madilyn, Samantha, and Trinity.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Brilee, Brantlee, Grayson, Jonathan, Jaizayah, Renlee, Nashton, Cohen, and Juliana.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Della Mae Flickinger; her sister, Ann Vash; her brothers, Art Browning and Tim Browning; her granddaughter, Miranda Lavender; and her beloved best friend, Deliah (Lyla Bell).

Stephanie will be remembered most for her warmth, her humor, and the deep love she had for her family. Her laughter, her stories, and the joy she brought into every room will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
