Stephanie Ann Pickering Champion, 53, of El Dorado, Arkansas, passed away on Fridayt54 October 3, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and unwavering love to all who knew her.
ue eyes and a radiant smile, she lit up every room. Her quick wit could make you laugh until you cried-or make you want to take a few steps back.
Stephanie had a heart as big as her laugh. Fiercely protective and endlessly kind, she was a true lioness when it came to her children, grandchild, friends, and even strangers who needed someone to stand up for them. She was also known for her exceptional cooking-her banana pudding and chicken and dumplings are especially cherished by her grandson.
She shared a deep, enduring love with her husband, Edward Champion, and a special bond with her loyal dog, Polly. Her faith in Jesus was strong and sincere, and she lived it openly, touching many lives with her conviction and compassion.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, George Lewis; her mother, Ollie Ann Cates; her sisters, Renee Alexander and Lynda Alexander; and her beloved son, Andrew Pickering.
She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Champion; her daughter, Jaislee McDonald, and husband Brandon; her son, George Lewis; her stepdaughter, Eboni Champion; her grandson, Lane Pickering; her sister, Deborah Alexander; and her brothers, Kelly Menendez and Kyle Bouldin and numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Stephanie's legacy is one of love, strength, laughter, and faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
