Stephanie Goetz-Carpenter, 60, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday September 2, 2025, at the Heartford House while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born on December 6, 1964, in Owensboro. Stephanie loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them, especially around the holidays. She enjoyed therapeutic work in her flower gardens and never missed a chance to smell the roses. Stephanie absolutely loved the beach. She made several trips throughout her life time. You could find her relaxing or searching in the sand for seashells.
Music was an important part of her life as well, going to concerts, and just really feeling the lyrics to the songs in her soul. She took great joy in the little things in life, like writing positive motivational quotes or admiring the beauty in a sunset.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Alyce Jane Myles Goetz.
Stephanie is survived by her children, Jaclyn Estes, Dylan Miller, and Heavyn Wilson; grandchildren, Pierce, Ellie, Vaughn, Maisyn, and Chevy Miller; siblings, Sharon Riley, Jonathan Goetz, and Gina Dickens; nieces and nephew, Allison, Kristen, Erica, Jason, Cassie, Amy, Brittany and Sadie; also several special close friends.
