Stephanie Kendall Greene, 41, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at Baptist Health Louisville. Stephanie was fiercely loved by many and while her time on earth ended too soon, her contribution to those around her extends beyond her years. She was a gifted hairstylist, artist and friend, with an infectious laugh and an undeniable spirit. Although the last few years of her life were difficult, in her final days she was able to give the gift of life to others as an organ donor. A beautiful offering and legacy that will give life to others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Stephen and Janice Poticny Greene.
She is survived by her sister, Whitney Greene Conely (Joseph), her nephew and niece, Leo and Lucy, and many extended family members.
Visitation will be 3:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 29th at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home East Louisville, 12900 Shelbyville RD 40243. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Epiphany Catholic Church, 914 Old Harrods Creek Rd, Louisville, KY 40223 with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
To honor Stephanie's vibrant spirit, the family is encouraging the community to wear bright colors in her memory, even derby attire if you wish. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project or Donate Life KY in her honor.
