Carol Ann (Bennett) Logsdon, 88, lovingly known as "Mamaw", passed away Monday, August 18, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She was a graduate of Southern High School, class of 1955. She continued her education at the University of Louisville for nursing. She worked as a bookkeeper, but mainly stayed home to raise their two sons. Carol enjoyed gardening, cooking, and volunteering. She was strong in her faith and attended Okolona Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded by her loving husband, Russell Logsdon; She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two sons: Mark Logsdon and Todd Logsdon (Amy); grandchildren: Ben Logsdon (Tori) and Molly Logsdon; sisters: Brook Seymour (CW), Linda Metts, and Donna Guess (Harry), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will all miss her dearly.

Visitation will be 5:00pm – 8:00pm, Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Ratterman Brothers, East Louisville (12900 Shelbyville Road) with an additional hour of visiting from 10:00am – 11:00am, Friday, August 22, 2025 and funeral service to begin at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Floydsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children (520 W Chestnut St, Louisville, KY 40202).
