Carol Logsdon Obituary

Carol Ann Logsdon, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Moundsville, West Virginia, at the age of 78. Born on March 13, 1947, in Highland Park, Michigan, Carol lived a life marked by dedication to her family and her profession.

Carol devoted many years of her life to caring for others as a nurse at Reynolds Memorial Hospital. Her compassionate nature and commitment to her work left a lasting impact on both her colleagues and the countless patients she tended to over the years.

Outside of her professional life, Carol found joy in the simple pleasures of gardening and collecting antiques. Her garden was a testament to her love of nature, and her home was filled with cherished pieces that reflected her keen eye for beauty and history.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Teresa Bannan. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Logsdon; her son, Brad Boyd, and his wife, Sylvia; and her grandsons, Austin and Mason Boyd. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Katrina Irwin, along with several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, September 26th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Altmeyer Funeral Home - Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel. A service celebrating Carol's life will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location. Committal services will take place immediately afterward at Mount Calvary.

Carol Ann Logsdon will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and care will continue to inspire those she leaves behind
