Buel Goodin Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Worked and managed the Oscar G. Carlstedt Co. since 1957. He was inducted into the Florist Hall of Fame in 1991. Buel loved thoroughbred racing and cruising.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nannie Goodin .and his brother-in-law Evan Burns.
Survived by his wife, Carolyn of 38 years, two step sons: Mark Riggs and Craig Riggs (Michelle), Five grandchildren: Tracy Crain (Drew), Caden Riggs; Kelsey Pennington (Braden), Justin and Jacob Riggs; four great-grandchildren: Seth, Stella, Lola, and Brenley. His sister Flora Burns (Evan), his nieces Karen Randolph (Michael), Kim Bonneville (Kelly) and five great nieces and nephews: Kalyn, Josh, Travis, Shelby and Ike.
Funeral service 11 am Friday October 10, 2025 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation 3-7 pm Thursday October 9, 2025 at the Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road.
Memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation.
