Bobby Goodin Obituary
Bobby R. Goodin, 83, of Lima, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Kindred Hospital, Lima surrounded by his family. He was born on November 30, 1941 in Ingram, KY to the late Will and Roxie {Fuson} Goodin.
Bobby retired from Ford Motor Company in 2002 after 30 years. He loved to bowl, golf, and above all else, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also was an avid fan of the UK Wildcats Basketball.
He is survived by his children: Debra Goodin, Robin (James) Woodruff, and Tracy (Steven) Hooker, grandchildren: Calvin (Kyle) Woodruff, Jayme (Matt) Patterson, Lacey (Nick) Dunn, Brandon (Mellani) Cady, Taylor (Dakota) Maness, Jessica (Zeth) Cady, Nolan (Caitlin Shuman) Hooker, and Trevor (Jayden) Hooker, great-grandchildren: Dalton (Abby) Woodruff, Camden Woodruff, Britton Woodruff, Nash Woodruff, Kallie Patterson, Brynlee Patterson, Mac Dunn, Cyrus Dunn, Griffin Cady, Benny Cady, Cooper Cady, Olivia Maness, Lainey Maness, Waylon Maness, Winnie Cady, and Nena Hooker, brother: Finley Goodin, son-in-law: Mark Cady, and special friend: Jean Oliver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son: John Steven Goodin, daughter: Donna Cady, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Baker will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
