Martha Whitt Obituary
Martha AnnGail Whitt, (78), passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at her home in Lima. Martha was born on October 3, 1946, in Fount, Kentucky, to Richard & Nellie (Mason) Smith.
Martha was a member of LaFayette Baptist church for over 40 years. She liked playing BINGO, reading and shopping. She loved to watch Family Feud, Mash, and The Price is Right.
She is survived by her son Jeff (Kelly) Whitt of Lima; grandchildren: Jeff Whitt Jr., Amber (Mike) Stevens, and Myranda (Ted) Gates; great-grandchildren: Melina, Lindsay, Alynna, Aubree, Amilya, Michael, Mikayla, Ethan, and Addy; brother, Beve Smith; and sister, Ada (Wayne) Shannon. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 3 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30 2025, and also 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Rev. Russ Stringfield will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Beaverdam.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LaFayette Baptist Church.
