Stephanie Heinrich Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home - Del Rio on Mar. 30, 2026.
Stephanie (Stevie) Lynn Stidham Heinrich, 56, of Humble, Texas, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her beautiful home on March 24, 2026.

Stevie was born in Del Rio, Texas, to Burt and Debbie Stidham. She had a wonderful childhood and was raised in a Christian home where faith and family was a priority. Her Del Rio roots defined the person she went on to be, and we all know Del Rio held a special place in her heart-and Del Rio loved her right back. Stevie attended Del Rio High School and went on to graduate from Texas State University (formerly Southwest Texas State), where she met her husband, Chris. It was love at first sight. Chris and Stevie were married for 31 years and lived in Humble, where they raised their three amazing sons, who were her pride and joy. Her boys were the center of her world. She was their number one fan and self-proclaimed personal assistant. One of her greatest joys was watching her sons succeed in life. She thought her boys hung the moon, and they knew it.

To know Stevie was to love her. She never stepped out of the house without looking her best-hair curled, heels on, nails painted, jewels around her neck, and always the biggest smile on her face. She was a bright light everywhere she went. She kept the same standards of excellence across the board, including in her home, which was an extension of her. A candle was always lit, the beds were always made, and her flowerbeds were always immaculate. Stevie loved her home and poured her heart into it daily. She loved watching shows with Chris at night and boating with him and the dogs on sunny days. Her favorite days were when her house was full and her boys were home. She was the hostess with the mostest and always had a charcuterie board, along with her boys' favorite snacks and drinks, prepared to greet them the moment they walked through the door. Motherhood was her greatest joy.

She also proudly enjoyed the finer things in life, like keeping up with her tan, her nails, her hair, and she never turned down a good massage. A true girly girl through and through.

Stevie had a gift for making people feel heard, valued, and cared for. Her phone calls and long conversations will be deeply missed by many. She always picked up on the first ring and was an amazing listener and true friend. Life will not be the same without her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Chris Heinrich; her sons, Justin, Jackson, and Jett Heinrich; her sister, Lara Kusenberger and husband Jacob; her brother, Jason Stidham and wife Ashley; her brother, Russell Stidham; her in-laws, Mark and Starleen Heinrich and their children, Matt Heinrich and wife Laura, and Kevin Heinrich and wife Cathe; her aunts, Carolynell Wardle, Ernestine Ricks, and Janice Foster; and many nieces and nephews who adored her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Debbie Stidham, whom she adored and missed dearly.

Stevie will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.

Psalm 91: "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Chris Heinrich, Justin Heinrich, Jackson Heinrich, Jett Heinrich, Jason Stidham, Russell Stidham, Matt Heinrich, and Kevin Heinrich.
