Stephanie Marie Jones

Stephanie Marie Jones, age 48, of Morristown, passed away very unexpectedly at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. Stephanie was born on June 6th, 1977, in River Rouge, Michigan. She enjoyed walking her dog, Max, and loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and she loved just riding around and thrifting. At the age of 15, she married Jeff Kitts, and they had three daughters, Stephanie Leanne, Diana, and Emily. She later married Charles Blackburn, and they had a son, Zack Blackburn. She was then married for 10 years to Keith Jones, who preceded her in death two months ago. She was known for having a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of her back to help anyone who was in need. She cared and loved so deeply about everyone and everything. Stephanie could cheer you up regardless of your mood. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and the ability to make you laugh until you are in tears. She loved her three kids and those grandbabies were her world, and oh how she loved putting a smile on their faces and to always be a listening ear. Preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Robin Wilson; father, Bates Abbott; daughter, Stephanie Leanne Kitts; husbands, Charles Blackburn and Keith Jones; brother, Timothy Jordan; uncle, Mike Murphy; aunt, Jean Stokesberry; cousin, Mark Murphy, and her companion dog, Max. She will be greatly missed by her children, Diana Kitts (Scotty Cogdill), Emily Kitts (Trey King), and Zack Blackburn; grandchildren, Hunter Cogdill, Weston Cogdill, Ellie Mae Cogdill, Braylee Cogdill, and Delilah Cook; brother, Kevin Smith; aunt, Sharon Givens; and cousins, David Givens, Suzanne Shaw, and Tommy Givens. A Celebration of Life will be held at The LilyPad on Main, 130 W Main St, Morristown, TN 37814
on Monday, November 10th from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
