It is with loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Ms. Stephanie Denise Pride, 56, of Monticello, Florida, who went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Stephanie Pride will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at St. Rilla M.B. Church, 13 Barrington Road, Monticello, FL 32344, with the interment to follow in Springfield Cemetery.

Viewing-visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2026, at the TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO CHAPEL (850-997-5553).

Stephanie Denise Pride was born on March 4, 1969, to her loving parents, Henry Pride, Sr. and Queen Ester Clinton Pride. Stephanie was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1987. She later pursued her passion for beauty and service by graduating from Lively Vocational Technical School, where she earned her certification in cosmetology. In 1988, Stephanie began her dedicated career with the State of Florida, where she served faithfully for 19 years.

Stephanie was known for her professionalism, reliability, and commitment to excellence. At an early age, Stephanie confessed Christ and became a member of St. Rilla Missionary Baptist Church, where she began her spiritual journey and foundation of faith.

Stephanie peacefully transitioned on December 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering devotion to her family, and the grace with which she carried herself throughout her life.

Above all, Stephanie cherished her family. Her love and memory will forever live on through her beloved son, Denard Holmes; her cherished grandsons, Ashton and Kannon Holmes; her loving parents, Henry Pride, Sr. and Queen Ester Clinton Pride; her brothers, Henry Pride, Jr. of Tallahassee and Fairon Pride of Monticello; her niece, Kiana (Termaine) Jones of Monticello; her nephews, Devonte` Pride and Davion Pride, both of Tallahassee; along with a host of other loving relatives and dear friends. Stephanie was preceded in death by her beloved brother, David Montez Pride, and her cherished sister, Lashon Ulanda Clinton.
