Stephanie Rummel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home - Lewisville on Aug. 20, 2024.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our daughter, Stephanie Gwen Rummel, at the age of 35, and after 11 ½ courageous years being blessed with a double lung and kidney transplant from Methodist Hospital n Houston. Stephanie was born at Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton, TX on March 08, 1989 and passed from this life on August 1, 2024.
Stephanie came into this world with an abundance of love to share, having to be where the action was, full of curiosity with a smile that would light up a room and more sass than any one person should possess. Her life wasn't always easy, being diagnosed at 18 months old with a rare lung disease and then in her junior year of high school being diagnosed with Lupus, and with so many other issues in-between and after. She met each battle with such courage and was such a fighter. She fought long and hard through each battle until her kidney failed a second time. She then chose that the fight was over, and it was time to go to heaven to be with the Lord, where she would breathe with ease and not be in pain. All of her health issues never stopped her. Taking tap and ballet when she was young, to playing volleyball and being a cheerleader in Middle School. Once she was 21, she enjoyed going out with friends to country & western dance, playing pool and just hanging out. During her brief time when she was able to work, she was employed at several different retail stores and loved working at day care.
Stephanie is survived by her parents, Bruce and Sandie Rummel, her sister Katie Rummel, and was preceded in death by both sets of loving grandparents. She will be forever in our hearts & memories.
Stephanie was the life of the party and with that we invite you to send her off in style. Simply bring yourself and your memories to share.
