Obituary for Stephanie Stevens, Hobe Sound, Florida

Stephanie passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 26th, 2026, in Stuart Florida. She was born on August 31st, 1944, in Concord Massachusetts where she spent her time commuting from the Bahamas where her family ran a salt factory most of her young years. She ultimately made her home in Jupiter Florida where she married (James C. Brink) and had 5 children, one of which (Sean Randall Brink) who passed when he was 15 months old. Stephanie was preceded in death by her both her parents (Barton and Penelope) her brother (Randall) and her sister (Vicki).

At the time of her passing, she left behind a beloved friend of over half her lifetime, (Thomas "Skip" Stevens) whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her four children (Adrienne, Nathan, Meredith, and Janna) her seven grandchildren (Monica, Matthew, Eric, Emilly, Morgan, Nathaniel, and Abigail), and her nine great grandchildren (Daniel, Deziray, Legend, Syrah, Ace, Brayden, Aryanna, Matias, and Cambria).

During most of her time in Jupiter and in Hobe Sound Florida where she ultimately settled, she was a hairdresser and an Avon representative. She loved being able to help others and provide these services to people. She was a people person. Someone whose love was expressed in unwavering support. Her love language was gifting. She would often send little reminders of her love to others in the form of a little gift of perfume, jewelry, or art supplies or whatever she thought you would enjoy. She knew how to make you feel special. She also had a love for tattoos. Something she was proud of was the meaning of every one of them. The love she shared and her influence on family will continue to be felt through the generations. Her smile, her faith, her kindness, and devotion to family will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Her family wishes to thank all who were a part of her care in the last years of her illness. They are extremely grateful for all the encouragement.
