Stephen Dennis Andrews (Steve), 66, of Bonifay, Florida, found peace and entered eternal rest on November 26, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1959, at Baptist Hospital to Ted and Effie Andrews in Pensacola, Florida.

During high school, Steve acquired his first job, which embarked on a very successful 36-year career in the full-service restaurant and fast-food industry. Steve was very committed and dedicated to his career path, which resulted in him receiving multiple acknowledgements and rewards throughout his career and ultimately becoming a highly sought after restaurant profitability strategist throughout the Southeastern United States. In addition, Steve pursued passions of entrepreneurship by establishing, owning and operating numerous enterprises over his life-time.

Steve possessed an absolute and true desire for hamburgers and definitely ate his fair share throughout his lifetime. To say hamburgers were his favorite food was an understatement. His children nicknamed him “The Hamburgular”; simply because he had a hamburger in his hand every chance he got.

Steve was deep in his faith and bible studies and stood strong on his beliefs. He was an amazing drummer in his free time and could identify and replicate a beat like it was second nature to him. Steve was always seen tapping his hands and feet to a beat. He loved Christian and Progressive Rock music and really enjoyed playing his drums along with various drum solos. Steve was very fond of Michael Jackson and his dance moves and would mimic the artist’s moves when listening to or talking about the artist's music.

He thoroughly enjoyed watching Old Westerns and Comedy shows and movies. Steve had a very unique and funny personality. He was always seeking laughter and would get hysterically tickled with certain comedian line phrases that struck him as humorous and entertaining. He was known to rewind and play movie segments numerous times to keep the laughter and giggles rolling.

Steve was very committed to making sure all needs of his family were met and he ensured his family never went without. He was known to regularly arrange family fun times and entertainment, when able, such as visiting arcades, theme parks, historical sites, taking a beach or fishing trip, or sometimes just having a nice family dinner at a restaurant, which was important to him. Steve truly embraced the challenges and hard work of a blended family with grace, determination, and love and instilled and taught many valuable life lessons and strong morals.

Steve was predeceased by his parents, Ted Andrews and Effie Andrews; by his brother, Jerry Andrews; and by his sister, Rachell Foss; along with many other loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Kitza G. Andrews, six children, Stephen Blake Andrews, Kristi (Lance Pittenger) Mader, Billy Ward, III, David Ward, Nathan and Nicholas; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters Deborah (Michael) Morris and Ann Bilinski; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

May Stephen Dennis Andrews rest in peace and may his family and friends find strength and comfort in the memories of the time together, laughs and love they shared. His legacy will remain alive in the hearts of all family and friends.
