It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Robert Baggett fondly known as "Stretch", who departed this world on August 7, 2024, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on November 12, 1949, in Goodlettesville, Tennessee.


Stephen was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His jovial nature and love for life were evident in everything he did. He found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing, hosting cookouts with family, and sharing laughter through his playful jokes.


The memory of Stephen will be forever cherished by his family and friends. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Shirley, daughters, Wendy Colon (Danny) and Carla Coleman, several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren will always hold dear the moments shared with him.



Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at the visitation services, which will be held at Cone Funeral Home, located at 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, Kentucky, on August 12, 2024, starting at 3:30 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM. Additional visitation services will take place on August 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.


A final farewell and burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, 1209 Fairview Ave, Bowling Green, Kentucky, on August 13, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM.


Stephen's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the warm memories and love that he shared with us all.
