Stephen Barba Obituary
Stephen Carl Barba passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025. He was 73 years old. Son of the late Pasquale and Alpha (Gillette) Barba, he was born on July 26, 1951, in Tuxedo, NY.
Stephen graduated from Suffern High School in 1970. He retired from the Tuxedo Park Water Department and was a member of the Tuxedo Sportsman Association.
Left to cherish his memory are his partner, Laura Catanzariti; his daughters, Stacey Barba, Courtney Barba, and Megan La Burt-Barba; his 4 grandchildren; and his siblings, Peter Barba and Laurel Bates. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Carolyn Barba and Donna Hutmacher.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, 2-6 pm, at the Sloatsburg Firehouse, 96 Orange Turnpike, Sloatsburg, NY 10974
