Stephen Bouwell Obituary
Steve was born on March 7, 1962 in Monroe to Clifford and Faye Bouwel. He loved being outdoors and was a landscaper for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Lynn Butler Bouwel; mom, Violet Faye Bouwel Shively; father, Clifford Uriah Bouwel; sister, Jane Bennett; brother, Ronnie Bouwel; great grandmother, Edna Clarice Steed; nephews, Lance Popovic, Wendell Bouwel and Micah Crowell; son-in-law Frankie Gilbert Tipton, Sr.
Steve is survived by his daughters, Crystal Bouwel and Kelly Bouwel-Tipton; son, Stephen Bouwel Jr and wife, Emily; grandchildren, Frankie Tipton Jr., Austin Brooks, Elijah Tipton, Isayiah Tipton, Bradley Bouwel, Raylan Bouwel and River Bouwel; sisters, Karla Perry and husband Mike, Connie Bouwel; brother, James Bouwel and wife B.J.; nieces and nephews, Tamara, Heath, Lana, Cricket, Jared and Shelby; along with cousins and other cherished family and friends.
Honoring Steve as pallbearers are Charlie Leonard, Randall Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Kevin Smith, Frankie Tipton Jr. and Elijah Tipton; honorary pallbearers Isayiah Tipton and Michael Wade.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Pastor Ricky Baker will be officiating. Interment will follow at McCormick Cemetery in West Monroe, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, West Monroe. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00 AM until the time of service.
