Lorene Parker

Lorene Blanche Lindsey Dumas Parker passed away on February 7, 2026 in Farmerville, Louisiana. She was born October 10, 1926 in Waldo, Arkansas To Alasker Jasper Lindsey and Bessie Melverta Milligan.

Lorene was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a faithful member of Enterprise Baptist Church. She loved cooking, sewing and she cherished having family and friends visit.

Lorene was preceded in death by her husbands, Lester Dumas of 44 years, Miales Parker of 23 years; daughter, Bonnie Norrell; granddaughter, Lindsey Bonner; parents, Alasker Jasper Lindsey and Bessie Melverta Milligan; siblings, Noel J. Lindsey, Allen Lindsey, Roby (James) Lindsey, Betty Sue Lindsey, Linda Jeane Lindsey and Clara Mae Tidwell.

Lorene leaves behind her children, Terry Dumas (Charlene), Mickey Dumas (Kim), Sharon Bonner (Larry); and son-in-law, Fred Norrell; her second family, her step children, Joyce P. Temple (Billy), Rhonda P. Lee, Colleen Parker, Beverly Parker and Lori P. Duty (Mike); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and other cherished family and friends.

She will be truly missed here on this earth, but we know we will see her again where Jesus has prepared a place for each of us.

Honoring Lorene as pallbearers will be Steven Norrell, Shannon Dumas, Kerry Bonner, Tommy Bonner, Cody Bonner and Bill Temple.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville. Rev. Harlin Knight will officiate. Interment will follow at Enterprise Cemetery, Farmerville, under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, Farmerville. A visitation for family and friends will be held at 1:00 PM until the time of service.
