JEFFERSON: Stephen W. Bovenzi, 45, died on Monday, October 7th in the Hospital of Central Connecticut surrounded by his family.
He leaves his beloved wife Nicole M. (Brooks) Bovenzi, his son Russell Bovenzi and daughter Lily Bovenzi, his mother Shirley (Simonis) Bovenzi, his brother Kevin Bovenzi and his wife, Erica, as well as his sister Jennifer Heywood and her fiancé Jason and son, Jason. He also leaves many close family and friends. He is predeceased by his father Bernard Bovenzi.
He was born in Worcester and graduated from Leicester High School in 1998. He was recently employed at Greenwood Industry as a sheet metal worker within the past year. When he was younger, he volunteered for the Leicester Fire Department. He enjoyed hiking and fishing, but most of all he loved to barbeque and cook with family and friends. He was always there to lend a hand when needed and will be missed dearly.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, October 18th from 5:00-7:00pm in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. There will be no other services at the request of the family.

To Stephen's family,
So very sorry for your loss. He was a teenager when I first met him as I was working with his mom. I had the pleasure of meeting him again when he became a dad. I was so pleased that he remembered me. Such a pleasant man and so proud of his family. Keep his memories safe.
