Stephen J. Bradley Sr. (Steve), age 74, of Northeast Philadelphia, PA., passed away at Holy Redeemer Hospital on August 29, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia; son of the late James and Katherine Bradley.
Stephen was the beloved husband of Ada, married for 56 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Stephen J. Bradley, Jr. (wife Theresa), James Bradley and Kimberly Gallagher (husband Robert, Sr.). He will be sadly missed by his 7 grandchildren Robert, Daniel, Maria, Bridget, Victoria, Liam, and Devon. His 3 great grandchildren Robert, Dominic and Francis. His brothers James, Dennis, Lawrence, William, and his sister Eileen and many nieces, nephews, friends, peers, and by all who knew him.
Stephen was a Service Technician for Sears Roebuck and Company; he retired after 30 years of service.
Steve enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He liked Golf and going fishing. He was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan, especially the Eagles. He was a dedicated and loyal member of both the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of East Norriton; Montgomery-Curtis-Norris Lodge #57, and the Free and Accepted Masons, Pilgrim Lodge #712 Philadelphia PA. Most of all He loved spending time with his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Life Celebration, Saturday; September 7th from 10am to 2pm at the John F Givnish Life Celebration Home 10975 Academy Road. Philadelphia, PA 19154, followed by his fraternal services at 12:30pm, religious services at 1 pm.
His Interment will be Private. Contributions may be made in his name to
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
