Stephen R. Crawford passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 76.
Steve was born on April 4, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clifford and Claire (nee Woebkenberg) Crawford.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Steve is survived by his wife Barbara, his children, Natalie (Jason) Bubenhofer and Paul (Kelli) Crawford, and his two adoring grandchildren, Samuel Bubenhofer and AJ Crawford, who brought immense joy to his life.
Steve was the beloved brother of Gail (the late Ron) Chimenti, Daniel Crawford, Maureen (Jay) Geiser, Susan (Mike) Reid, Greg (Denise) Crawford, Brian (Holly) Crawford, Terrence (Ian) Crawford, Jeannie (Jeff) Niebuhr, Michelle (Michael) Gleeson, and David Crawford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Steve was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His fondest memories were of times spent laughing and enjoying life with family and friends. He was an avid guitar player and loved playing golf any time he could. Those who knew him best know that he lived life on his own terms and was incredibly smart, witty, and successful. Above all, Steve's world revolved around his precious grandsons Samuel and AJ who were his pride and joy.
A memorial visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home located at 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 12:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America in Steve's honor.
