Stephen "Steve" Alan Danforth, 68, passed away October 14, 2024. Born in Tupper Lake, NY to Royce and Jeanette (Disotell) Danforth on November 5, 1955. He spent most of his life in Tupper Lake, NY before moving to lake Worth, FL.
After graduating from Tupper Lake High School he joined the Navy. After 4 years of service he returned to Tupper Lake and spent 20 years working at the post office. In 1996 he moved to Florida where he worked as a computer support technician and supervisor for ten years.
Steve was a loving, kind and caring family man with a great sense of humor. What he loved most was spending time with his family and friends. Always willing to lend an ear, support or offer his quick wit.
There wasn't a day that went by that he didn't express his love and support to his family. He will be missed by all that have known him.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Royce Danforth; his sister, Terry Varney of West Gardner, Maine; and a daughter, Meagan Rose Danforth of Lake Worth.
Steve leaves behind his loving wife, Colleen Danforth to cherish and carry on his memory. He is also survived by his mother and step-father Jeanette and Fred Carpenter; his children, Joshua (Krista) Danforth of Kingston, TN, Nathan Danforth of Ayer, MA, Katelyn Danforth of San Antonio, TX, Madison Danforth of Lake Worth, FL. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Hunter and Alexandra Danforth and his siblings, Ted (Lynn) Danforth, Sherry (Larry) Child, Stacey (Scott) Huntington and Scott Whitten all of Gardiner, ME along with many nieces and nephews.
