Linda Fay Grissom, 76 years old of Port St Lucie
Linda Fay Grissom went t o see Jesus o n January 13,2026. She i s survived by her beloved son,
Jeffery Steven Grissom (wife Bobbie) and brother Larry Brown (wife Cheryl), along with 2
nephews, Marc and Larry Brown Jr. and one niece Janette Stafford, who was like a daughter t o
Linda. She also leaves behind 3 beautiful grand-daughters; Meghan, Julia and Molly, and one
precious great-grand daughter Willow. She also leaves behind 3 great-nephews and 2 great-
nieces. She was preceded i n death by her father Julian Brown, mother Palmer Brown, two sons;
Larry and Shawn Grissom, and longtime boyfriend Joseph Greene.
Linda was born i n Nashville, Geogia o n February 25,1949; where she residing for many years.
She later moved t o Indiantown, Florida and married. Linda was a line cook for many years at
Indianwood Golf club and Cracker café. Linda was known for her great cooking and pies. Linda
was also known as the neighborhood mom for many years t o many o f her son's friends. She
raised 3 boys as a single mom. After her longtime boyfriend Joseph Greene's passing Linda
moved to Port St Lucie, around the year 2000, where she resided until death.
Linda loved our Lord Jesus wholeheartedly. She attended church most Sundays alongside her
beloved niece Janette's side. After losing both her eldest and youngest sons, Linda lived
independently for many years. After a brief illness in the hospital, Jesus called her home.
Linda was kind, loving and faithful. She loved her family with all her heart.
There will b e a memorial/visitation service at All County Funeral home o n Sunday, January 18,
2026.The memorial service will b e a t 2pm and a visitation of friends and family to follow until
4Pm. All are welcome t o come share a memory and offer their respects.
