Stephen Robert Dickinson

Stephen (Steve) Robert Dickinson, 69, of Georgetown, Florida, passed away on December
15, 2025, surrounded by the love of his life, Cheryl, and the daughter he never had, Jennifer.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Dickinson; his beloved
sister, Darlene James; and his four-legged children, Brodie and Bella.

Those left to cherish his memory include his soulmate, Cheryl Jordan Ellison; her children,
Jennifer, Kyle, and Kelli; Jennifer's children, Andrew, Madelyn, and Preston-who lovingly
referred to him as Paw Paw Steve and were all a very special part of his life; and Kelli's
children, Katelynn and Jackson. He is also survived by his son, Tim (Robin) Dickinson, and
grandchildren, Charlie and Eleanor, of Englewood, Colorado.

Steve is further survived by his siblings: Jim (Marilyn) Dickinson of Prineville, Oregon; Martha
(Dana) Mathewson of Apple Valley, Minnesota; Nancy (Jim) Powell of Englewood,
Tennessee; and David Dickinson of Fresno, California; his brother-in-law, Gordon James of
Clovis, California; his most favorite niece and nephew, Christine Hyink and Lonnie Carter; and
a host of extended family members and friends.

Often referred to as a gentle giant, Steve's heart was as big as they come. He was a selfless
man who would go out of his way to help anyone in need. A skilled contractor with a deep love
for woodworking, Steve frequently donated his time to help others with home
renovations-often long after his own workday had ended.

Steve loved to travel and was known for his spontaneous road trips, always eager to explore
new places. He was an avid dog lover, and his best buddy, Moochie, misses him deeply.
Steve loved life, and he loved big. Our world is a little darker without his infectious smile,
contagious laugh, big blue eyes, and endless supply of silly "dad jokes."

He lived with a passion for forgiveness, believed in living each day fully, and loved without
judgment. Steve was humble, grateful, and kind beyond measure.

In true Steve fashion, his legacy lives on through his selflessness as an organ donor. He
continued to give to others even after his passing.

Per Steve's wishes, he was cremated. Crevasse's of Gainesville, Florida, is handling the
arrangements for the family. A private memorial for family and loved ones will be held at a
later date.

To honor Steve's memory, donations may be made to Beagles and Friends Forever Rescue
and Sanctuary in Crescent City, Florida-his favorite animal rescue and the place where he
lovingly chose his special fur baby, Moochie.

Rest in paradise Steve, you are so very loved and deeply missed by all the lives you touched.
