75, of Old Hickory, TN passed away November 7, 2018. He was known and loved as Steve, Dad, and Grandpa. He was a very kind, sincere, warm-hearted and loving man who cherished his family above all else. He made friends easily, was well-liked, and had a great smile and sense of humor. He was born in Astoria, NY and is preceded in death by his parents Biaggio and Mary (Italiano) DiVona, brother Anthony DiVona, sister Joan (DiVona) DelGiorno. He had a full and wonderful life and is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Connie, his son Dan (Jennifer), Brother Ben (Nancy) DiVona, granddaughters Isabella, Emma, and their mother Julie (Richard) Blocker, step grandchildren Gage Hofecker, Lanee (Wes) Bridges, Marissa (Kyle) Webb. The many nephews, nieces, and cousins including the Spirio, DelGiorno, and LoPinto families and all those who knew and loved him. His dog Lucky. Steve was a Navy Veteran, a Freemason, and an electrical contractor in Tampa, FL for 30 years. He previously lived in Selden, NY for 30 years, then spent 30 years in Tampa, FL, and retired with his family in Old Hickory, TN. Steve/Dad/Grandpa, you left us with wonderful memories and we knew you loved us. You will always be in our hearts, and you will always be loved.
