Today we say goodbye to a friend, a brother, a husband, a father, and band mate - Steven “Hot Shot” Dornich. Steve was a man of extraordinary strength, determination, and heart. A man shaped by hard work and sacrifice. A man who loved his family fiercely and lived life without fear. He showed up as himself unapologetically, and that is how he will always be remembered. Steve passed away on December 29, leaving behind a legacy that cannot be measured only in years, but in music, love, and the countless lives he touched.
Steve was a cornerstone of the Boswell Engineering team since 2002. Over 23 years, he established himself as an elite inspector whose attention to detail and technical expertise were second to none. Beyond his skills in the field, Steve was a mentor, a heavy presence in the office, and helped shaped a legacy of excellence in the Boswell name.
Steve leaves behind his beautiful wife Suzanne and his beloved children Lyndsey and Stephen, who were the center of his world. He is proceeded in his death by his sisters Kathleen and Susan, and his parents Louise and Stephen. He also leaves behind his sister Francine, nieces and nephews, and countless friends and extended family who were better for have knowing him.
We will miss the music he made, the laughs we shared, and the powerful presence he carried everywhere he went. While his time with us feels far too short, we are grateful for every moment of it. His spirit, his sound, and impact will stay with us always.
