We have known Steve for many years and his passing came as quite a shock and sadness.
First met him when he was in high school and friends with our daughter, Rachael. He visited us often and soon became almost part of our family. Even after Rachael moved out of Michigan, Steve was still a frequent visitor and became friends with each of us.
While he worked at Levy, we teamed up one summer on their company golf league at Broadmoor Golf. He and I shared a passion for music, vinyl, and vacuum tube hi fi gear. We often went together on LP record and hi-fi equipment buying trips as far as Detroit and Chicago. I rebuilt some tube hi-fi equipment for Steve which he thoroughly used and enjoyed.
More recently we have lost touch, but it still hurt to hear the news. We are glad that Steve found a job that appreciated him and where his many talents and interests were recognized by his peers. We will miss him.

Stephen always made me smile. He always made me feel like I belonged. He took the time and patience to show me new skills. He was so appreciated by me and I am so very sad he is gone.

I met Steve at Levy Music. He made a Kinks tape for me which I still have. Steve had a dry sense of humor. He had a nervous laugh.

Steve was a kind, genuine guy. Been a friend since the early 90s. Lots of good times...
