Stephen Drew Duncan, age 78, died April 19, 2025. He is survived by his wife Marilyn S. (Hendricks) Duncan, of Bloomington, IN; his sisters, Patricia (Thomas) Thummell of Nashville, IN and Teresia (Dennis) Moore of Bloomington, IN; son and daughter-in-law Brent W. (Angela) Duncan of Bloomington; daughter Julie A. (Duncan) Morron of Bloomington, IN; grandchildren, Abby E. (Moses) Sears of Bloomington, IN, Bailey M. Duncan of Indianapolis, IN, and Christian Kammell of Indianapolis, IN; great grandchildren, Ezra S. Sears, Ethan D. Sears, and Eli D. Sears, all of Bloomington, IN; and nephews, Rafe Thummell, Jason Thummell, and Brian Polley.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, Milburn Elmo Duncan and Ruby Beatrice Duncan; niece, Tammy Elkins; and son-in-law, Jeffrey D. Morron.
Steve retired from IBEW Local 725 of Terre Haute, IN. He was the founder of Duncan's Fur, Hide, & Root Co. Steve thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and houseboating. For 10 years, Steve and Marilyn lived on a houseboat on Lake Cumberland, KY.
He was loved by all and will be missed very much by family and friends.
No funeral will be held, but a graveside service will be held on Saturday April 26, 2025, at 1pm at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, IN. Jud Sears will officiate the graveside services. Allen Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
