Stephen Ebert Obituary
Stephen E. Ebert, 71, of Erie, passed away Sunday August 31, 2025. He was born in Erie on June 15, 1954 a son of the late Charles T. and Bertelle Johnson Ebert.
Stephen graduated from Academy High School. He volunteered at Perry Highway Hose Company as a fireman, EMT, and a Hazmat Team member. He was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church and a social member of the VFW. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas C. Ebert.
Survivors include his brother, Glenn Ebert (Ann); his niece, Erica DeMauri (Sean); and his great nephew, Sean DeMauri, Jr.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
