In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly asked for memorial donations to be made to a family member to sponsor a Senior from Sainte Genevieve High School in the Art Program for future college expenses. Steve has been an avid artist and would have loved to help an aspiring artist succeed in their dream.
He was a member of American Legion Post 150, Sainte Genevieve County Eagles 4336 and Labor Union Local 110.
Steve loved life and simply wanted to see a smile on your face. He was quite the jokester and his laughing snort was contagious. Steve finally bought himself a rat rod and it was his pride and joy along with his famous green "Kermit" modified VW flatbed. He was a collector of everything and enjoyed going to auctions. Steve was always willing to lend a hand and could make a friend everywhere he went. He spent many hours hanging out in his close friend, George Wehner's shop. Steve made his rounds to all of his favorite places and he will be greatly missed. To know Steve was an honor and a blessing.
