Stephen Michael Falter of Attleboro, MA went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2025, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born and raised in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, MA and was a son of the late John and Priscilla Falter. Stephen served honorably in the 1st Army Signal Brigade in Vietnam. He was a devoted and loving husband of Ann (DiZio) Falter for more than 50 years. He was also the loving and amazing father to Eric and his wife, Stephanie, Donna and Melissa Falter. As one of eight children, he was the brother of Diane and Anthony Butera of Brighton, MA; William and Janet Falter of Tampa, Florida; Brian Falter of Donegal, Ireland; Mark and Lori Falter of Walpole; Janice Falter of Brighton, MA; Robert Falter of Brighton, MA and the late Thomas Falter, Army Master Sergeant. He also leaves his grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Stephen was an ardent sportsman, especially alongside his childhood "bro", Lazo. He has always been and will always be remembered as a warrior - He will be greatly missed. Public visitation and services are omitted. A private service with military honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA with burial to follow. Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the City of Attleboro Veteran's Department, 77 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703 to be used towards a new transportation van.
