It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen H. Fisher on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2024. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. As the patriarch of our family, his absence is felt deeply, leaving a void that will not ever be filled.
A lover of life and the grand beauty of God and his creations, Steve approached everything with a profound sense of appreciation. He dedicated himself to his family, instilling values of love and integrity in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His warm spirit and contagious laughter created lasting memories for all who knew him.
Steve's presence was larger than life even in his last days. His charisma and warm nature lit up any room he entered. His humor was loving, never mean spirited and he had a unique gift of making everyone smile.
He is survived by his devoted wife Carlynne, his high school sweetheart with whom he shared 64 years of unwavering love and companionship.
His two daughters Tracy (Joseph) Gagliardi and Amy (Steven) Platt, six grandchildren, Nicholas (Alexandra) Signore, Jake Signore and fiancée Andrea Scarfi, Zachary Signore, Madison Platt, Olivia Platt and Brody Platt. Two great grandchildren, Mason Signore and Elise Falco his sister Donna Fisher, brother and sister-in-law Joe (Judy) Macord and he is predeceased by his brother John P. Fisher.
The family would like to thank the following: Caregivers Belinda Washington and Josue Feliciano for their wonderful care, Phyllis Drescher for her time helping Steve maintain mobility with swim classes, Michelle Kijewski and Danielle Dunn for outstanding and ongoing Physical Therapy care. The family would also like to thank Dr. Duarte Machado of the Chase Family Movement Center for his time, dedication and passionate concern for Steve.
